Pricing Analyst
Crestview Aerospace is seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst professional to perform coordination, cost analysis, pricing and assembly of proposal documentation for management approval and submittal to customers. The Pricing Analyst will collaborate with the proposal team and management to ensure proposal costing/pricing and customer deliverables comply with federal government regulations, request for proposal (RFP) requirements, and internal policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops, plans and schedules proposals.
- Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with RFP specifications.
- Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments.
- Researches and analyzes historical data and develops cost models to support proposal efforts.
- Develops and communicates the strategic, financial, and administrative implications of proposed and/or implemented pricing policy.
- Develops price recommendations to ensure compliance with policy.
- Provides input on final pricing contracts.
- Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings.
- Leads or participates in pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
- Recommends positions for pricing and reimbursement strategies for current and future products across all relevant customer and market segments.
- Supports internal and external audits to include customers and DCMA/DCAA.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficient in US Government accounting requirements (FAR/DFAR, CAS, TINA).
- Knowledge of contract development, Terms and Condition development and negotiations.
- Knowledge of complex machining and assembly in U.S. Defense Industry.
- Experience with Defense or Commercial Aerospace OEMs in procurement processes.
- Experience in managing customers and RFP processes.
- Solid financial knowledge and understanding of contribution margins and EBITDA.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and data processing skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to develop, cultivate, and manage relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, leading, and mentoring.
- A BS degree with 4 years of experience or related equivalent experience.
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends and flexible hours as required.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a public trust position (if required for the position).
- Some travel may be required.
- Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.
